Who we are

The Tackle List started with one simple — and kind of big — question:
When I’m at the end of my life, looking back, how do I want to feel about it?

I realized that life isn’t made up of huge milestones strung together — it’s made up of days. Ordinary, Tuesday-afternoon, running-errands days. And if each day is a building block of a lifetime, then the way I spend them matters. A lot.

But here’s the problem: when I looked back year over year, I felt like I was in the same place. My time was being swallowed by the same to-do list over and over — laundry, dishes, organizing, repeat. The “important but not urgent” dreams (drawing, journaling, playing with my kids, learning new skills) were always at the bottom of the list. And the bottom of the list is where things go to die.

At first, it felt wrong to put “fun” or “creative” ahead of “clean out the garage.” But I started asking myself a different question each morning:

“When I lay down to sleep tonight, how do I want to feel about my day?”

If the answer was healthy, content, and accomplished, I’d work backwards. What actions would get me there? A walk in the morning. Finishing a project I’ve been avoiding. Making time for something that sparks joy. Suddenly my to-do list wasn’t just chores — it was a blueprint for the life I wanted to build.

And that’s the heartbeat of The Tackle List.

We’re here for the parents, the multi-project jugglers, the people who feel like they’re treading water despite being busy all day. The ones who suspect they might be prioritizing the wrong things. Our tools help you break your big goals into small, doable steps and align your daily actions with the life you actually want — not just the life that’s shouting the loudest.

With the right lists and a lot of intention, you can start tackling the right things… and stop ending each year in the exact same place as the one before.

Because a great life isn’t built in a day — but it is built one day at a time.
